Matthew Marine account books
The Matthew Marine Collection contains various account books which date from 1822-1870. The bulk of the material falls between the period of 1830 to 1854. The collection is made up of account books, ledgers, and day books. This material focuses on the merchant and banking aspect of Matthew Marine's career, but only casual mention is made of two schooners he built.
Ridgely papers
This collection mainly concerns John Ridgely of Hampton (1851-1938), a gentleman farmer; Charles W. Humrichouse (d.1903), Baltimore sugar merchant; James Walker Humrichouse (1849-1927), medical doctor; and William Hawken, father-in-law of Charles W. Humrichouse. The materials in this collection include account ledgers, receipts and checks, and miscellaneous letters.

This collection contains the records of the Rieman businesses in Baltimore. There are 27 volumes of ledgers, cash books, journals, and day books covering the period 1807-1905.
